Tre Erre Ceramiche (“Tre Erre†meaning literally “Three Râ€) was founded in the city of Palermo in 1979 and named after Mrs. Rosa Raffa (previously Ms. Russo). From the very beginning, the aim of this company was to rediscover the cultural values inherent in the history of the Sicilian people through the production of ceramic artworks which are unique but at the same time reproducible.
Since 1994, the family company has been directed by Francesco Raffa, who shares with his parents a passion for the Sicilian Arts and Traditions, which is reflected in an exceptional attention to detail and the scrupolous choice of starting materials; this passion has been the guiding light through an impervious pathway which has made Tre Erre Ceramiche a reference point for those who appreciate the superior quality of their ceramic artworks.
All the products sold by Tre Erre Ceramiche are 100% handmade in two local workshops. Starting materials are locally sourced in Sicily, the workforce is local to the city of Palermo, and the shapes and decorative motifs are also intimately linked to the Palermitan tradition.
The company production is entirely manifactured in the original workshop in Via Calabro’ 8/10 and a new workshop, opened in 1998, in Via Emerico Amari 49.
